GIVING BACK TO THE SOCIETY - Corporate social responsibility





With a commitment to improve the quality of life of the community in which it serves and a belief to groom a responsible and an environmentally conscious young generation, Deokjae Construction Company Private Limited launched Deokjae Go Green Pakistan Tree Plantation Drive in April 2016.

The Go Green Tree Plantation Drive, a Deokjae CSR Initiative, kicked off at Mirpurkhas Toll Plaza on 5th April, 2016 and the ceremony
witnessed the support of the Commissioner Mirpurkhas, Mr. Shafiq Ahmed Mahesar as the Chief Guest of the occasion.

The second phase of the Go Green Tree Plantation Drive was put into effect on 7th April, 2016 at the Hyderabad Toll Plaza and the Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad, Mr. Mautasim Abbasi graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Also dignitaries and officials from the local bodies, management officials of Deokjae and known journalists from the media were present at both the ceremonies.

Moreover, school children from Sadiq Memon Foundation School in Mirpurkhas and Al Mehmood Bright Future School in Hyderabad were invited to plant the trees with the objective to impart, share and inculcate healthy values in them and also to help them understand their responsibility towards the society and the nation, thus enabling to create a better future.



Trauma Clinic Facility

Deokjae Pakistan has sponsored a free clinic for Trauma handling at Hyderabad Toll. Dozens of patients visited the clinic and to avail free consultancy, medicines and treatment. The patients received full workups at no cost. The participants appreciated the efforts taken by
Deokjae on this front.


Distribution of Food

Deokjae Pakistan is stepping forward with a sense of social welfare in the remote areas of the region. The interior region population
of Sindh mostly consists of laborers and the main source of their income comprises of daily wages. Owing to this the villagers are living under extreme penury. Deokjae Pakistan believes in alleviating the difficulties of its fellow brethren, so in more than 60 villages near Hyderabad and Mirpukhas, Deokjae has distributed food and other necessary supplies among hundreds of people residing in these areas. On this occasion, the villagers paid a thankful tribute to the Deokjae Pakistan for this act of kindness.


Govt. Employees Training

A training session was held for the Govt. employees, especially for Toll Operators by Deokjae Pakistan. In this session the trainers
guided the participants in areas of Operation, Maintenance and Contingency Management. The training was focused on the smooth flow of traffic, management of Electronic equipment and manual handling of Toll in emergency situations.



In House Training Workshop

Deokjae believes that the most valuable asset of any company is its employees and it ensures that its employees receive the
best of everything. A special training session on strengthening decision making skills, making use of valuable time effectively
and streamlining flow of everyday operations was held at the Toll. The feedback received was extremely positive and the workshop
proved to be a great learning experience.


Free Ambulance Service

A free ambulance service has been provided by Deokjae for all hours to attend to any unforeseen emergency taking place
near the surrounding area. This has benefited the local people greatly and alleviated the problem of accessing medical care
at the time when it is needed.
